Massage Therapy/ RMT - Walnut Grove
Jason Scott attended both West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and also the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy, graduating in 2005.
He brings his massage therapy skills to the Lower Mainland after building successful practices in the Yaletown district of downtown Vancouver (pHresh Spa, Spruce Body Lab, Vitality Chiropractic and Sports Therapy), and in the Fraser Valley (Optimum Sport Performance & Health Centre, Agassiz Massage Therapy Clinic).
His treatments often include components of: systemic deep tissue massage, Swedish relaxation massage, manual lymph drainage, myofascial trigger point techniques, fascial release, neuromuscular therapy, joint mobilization, muscle energy, and positional release therapy. This translates to the ability to address many painful issues using a deep approach, or, by utilizing more gentle techniques.
Jason regularly enjoys a variety of sports including running, swimming, biking, hiking, and snowboarding. He loves the nature & mystery of the underwater world, and currently holds the scuba rankings of Dive Master and Open Water Scuba Instructor rating (with six specialties), Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response (EFR) instructor, and holds a hyperbaric chamber operator license. He enjoys being an official provider of Registered Massage Therapy with the BC Lions Football Club.
Jason is interested in continuing his education into further post-graduate work involving advanced Bowen Therapy, Active Release Techniques, craniosacral work, and Osteopathy.
He looks forward to meeting with new clients, and working with them towards their optimal health goals. Arrange a consultation and treatment today!
